Summary
Left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) effectively treats cardiomyopathy caused by left bundle branch block. This pacing method offers a viable alternative when traditional cardiac resynchronization therapy is not feasible.
Area of Science:
- Cardiology
- Electrophysiology
- Cardiac Pacing
Background:
- Left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) is an alternative to biventricular pacing for cardiac resynchronization therapy.
- It is particularly useful when coronary sinus anatomy is unfavorable.
