Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension Prevalence and Hormonal Contraception: A Meta-Analysis

Hormonal contraception (HC) use, including oral contraceptive pills and hormonal intrauterine devices, is not significantly associated with idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) prevalence. This finding supports continued appropriate use of HC for women with IIH.
