Fiber-shaped aqueous Zn-ion batteries have shown significant promise as shape-imitating power sources for both wearable electronics and microrobots while they still suffer from inadequate reserve life, which limits the reliable working of electronics during long-term standby or continuous use. Herein, we present a fiber-shaped thermally activatable aqueous AgO-Zn battery with a long reserve life and a high energy density of 368 mWh·cm-3, which also gets rid of the bulky reservoir in conventional long-reserve batteries to enable convenient wearable and robotic applications. A bending endurable thermal phase-change waterproof layer was coated on the cathode separator to realize both a 50-ms activation time and a high power density of 1.62 W·cm-3. It was woven into textile to charge a cellphone as the emergency power source and served as a structure-adaptable power source for a flying microaerial vehicle, exhibiting great potential for emergency or microvehicle use with a long-term standby time.
