Summary

Caffeine supplementation (4 mg·kg-1) did not improve maximal isometric force or the accuracy of submaximal force estimation in multi-joint exercises. Participants consistently overestimated lower-intensity efforts, suggesting perceived effort is unreliable for prescribing isometric training.
