Summary
Whole-body cryostimulation (WBC) appears safe and effective for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). This case study shows WBC significantly reduced pain and improved function in a CRPS patient.
Area of Science:
- Pain Medicine
- Regenerative Medicine
- Cryotherapy
Background:
- Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) presents significant challenges in pain management.
- Current CRPS treatments have limited efficacy.
- Whole-body cryostimulation (WBC) effectiveness in CRPS is unexplored.
