  • Acute bacterial rhinosinusitis (ABRS) can lead to severe, though infrequent, complications if untreated.
  • Complications of ABRS can involve orbital, central nervous system, or bone tissues via direct or hematogenous spread.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To describe two pediatric cases of ABRS complications.
  • To detail the diagnostic and therapeutic approaches used for these complex cases.

Main Methods:

  • Case report of a 7-year-old male with ABRS complicated by osteomyelitis, epidural abscess, and orbital cellulitis.
  • Case report of an 11-year-old female with ABRS complicated by Pott's puffy tumor and bacteremia.
