Repetitive peripheral sensory stimulation (RPSS) intensity impacts motor recovery after stroke. Subsensory RPSS improved motor function in the subacute phase, while both subsensory and suprasensory RPSS aided chronic stroke recovery, affecting brain GABA+ levels differently.
