Summary

Three-phase bone scintigraphy combined with C-reactive protein (CRP) offers high accuracy for diagnosing periprosthetic joint infection (PJI). This TPBS-CRP method effectively excludes PJI, especially in knee replacements, but requires caution with severe bone loss.
