Purpose of the Study:

  • To compare the visual performance (VP) of P.A.U.S.E. spectacle lenses against Defocus Incorporated Multiple Segments (DIMS) lenses.
  • Evaluate objective and subjective visual parameters across different lens designs.

  • A randomized, single-masked study involving 48 participants (aged 18-41 years).
  • Participants wore five P.A.U.S.E. lens designs (T1, T2, T4, T5, T6) and DIMS lenses.

  • Most P.A.U.S.E. spectacle lenses provided enhanced visual performance through their treatment zones compared to DIMS.
  • Lens T2 exhibited better overall visual performance than DIMS, whereas DIMS showed better performance than T1.
