Abstract:
This feedback report provides a spatial perspective on the shift towards home care promoted by many stakeholders in the elderly care sector. New forms of accommodation for dependent elderly people are emerging in response to the obsolescence of the existing institutional model. Here we share the fruits of 20 years of experience: a few architectural principles, our methods of collaborative design with the various stakeholders, and the questions raised by this new emerging model.
