In this work a gas chromatographic based on cyclotriveratrylene material functionalized with ester functional groups with a peculiar jellyfish-like conformation (JF-CTV) has been described and characterized. The relevant column obtained by statical coating showed a column efficiency of 3960 plates/m and moderate polarity. The JF-CTV column achieved baseline resolution of all analytes in the mixtures, which contained diverse analytes ranging from apolar to polar, including both aromatic and aliphatic compounds, and also enabled the separation of skeletal, positional, and cis-/trans-isomers. These capabilities make the column potentially useful for the detection of minor isomer impurities in commercial reagent samples, revealing its promising application prospects in chromatographic separation.
