This review delineates the pivotal role of nursing and rehabilitation in perioperative management and chemotherapy support for lung cancer patients, with a focus on complication prevention, nutritional support, pulmonary rehabilitation (PR), and the integration of emerging technologies to optimize patient outcomes and quality of life (QoL). This review systematically summarizes nursing and rehabilitation interventions for lung cancer patients during the perioperative period and chemotherapy, including multimodal analgesia, thromboprophylaxis, infection control, personalized nutritional support, PR, and functional exercise to promote postoperative recovery and reduce complications. It also reviews the management of chemotherapy-related side effects such as nausea, vomiting, and neurotoxicity, along with psychological care strategies to improve patient adherence and QoL, and discusses the application of artificial intelligence and multidisciplinary team collaboration in nursing care.
