Summary

Posterior capsule rupture (PCR) and vitreous loss (VL) occurred in 1.9% of cataract surgeries. Pseudoexfoliation (PEX) was a significant independent risk factor for these complications, while the Triemli Cataract Score (TCS) showed a trend towards significance.
