Cognitive function in late-life depression after modified electroconvulsive therapy: A stratified analysis

Patients with late-life depression (LLD) who have more severe baseline cognitive deficits, particularly in naming and recall, show the most cognitive improvement after modified electroconvulsive therapy (MECT). Those with preserved cognition need closer monitoring.
