This case report highlights the critical challenges posed by monkey bites in pediatric patients, illustrated by a 6-month-old female child who suffered severe abdominal injuries, including evisceration and gastrointestinal perforations. Postoperative care involved broad-spectrum antibiotics, rabies, and antiviral prophylaxis. The case underscores the importance of prompt surgical evaluation and intervention in animal bite incidents, particularly in children, and emphasizes the need for public health awareness regarding increasing human-wildlife interactions.
