Antithrombotic agents: Do they protect from infective endocarditis? A retrospective observational study using TriNetx

Antithrombotic therapies, including antiplatelet and anticoagulant drugs, did not significantly prevent infective endocarditis (IE) in a large study. Further research is needed to confirm these findings for IE prevention.
