Abstract:
Using a large US hospital database, we described 13 177 candidemia-associated hospitalizations during 2016-2024. In 2024, Candida glabrata surpassed Candida albicans, and Candida auris, previously rare, ranked fifth. These findings underscore the importance of ongoing surveillance and adherence to guidelines for candidemia treatment and testing.
