Resource Use in Introductory Biology: Evaluating Latent Patterns, Demographic Covariates, and Effects on Final Course

Greater use of study resources doesn't always mean better grades in introductory STEM courses. Students using many social and material resources sometimes performed worse, suggesting other factors influence academic success.
