Summary

Treatment-resistant depression (TRD) shows altered glymphatic function, indicated by elevated diffusion tensor imaging analysis along the perivascular space (DTI-ALPS) indices. This elevation may reflect perivascular space narrowing, not improved clearance, and correlates with clinical symptoms.
