Despite the high success and survival rates of implant-supported prostheses, stripping of the implant abutment screw head can render an implant unusable, thus affecting the overall life and prognosis of an implant-supported restoration. This technique describes a straightforward and conservative approach to the retrieval of a damaged implant abutment screw head using autopolymerizing acrylic resin without the need for any additional equipment or further damage to the implant.
