Abstract:
Diabetes foot ulcer (DFU) is one of the common and serious complications of diabetes, with high incidence rate, high amputation rate and high disability rate. Scientific and effective wound management is crucial for improving patient prognosis and enhancing quality of life. In recent years, gels have shown important potential in promoting wound healing, inhibiting infection and improving local microenvironment, providing a new clinical strategy for improving DFU healing rate, reducing amputation rate and reducing recurrence. Based on the pathological characteristics of DFU wounds, this article systematically combs the mechanism and scope of application of various gel preparations, and summarizes their process paths in clinical application, aiming to provide standardized and evidence-based treatment reference for clinicians, and provide a basis for DFU patients to develop personalized treatment plans.
