Connective tissue disease-associated interstitial lung disease (CTD-ILD) is a common type of interstitial lung disease with known etiology. ILD caused by different CTDs presents their own unique development characteristics and prognosis. Its diagnosis, treatment and prognosis evaluation have always been difficult problems faced by clinicians. In recent years, the rapid development of machine learning (ML) technology in the medical field has brought new opportunities and challenges to the research of CTD-ILD. This article mainly summarizes the research progress of ML in CTD-ILD, aiming to promote precision medicine and early intervention, thereby delaying disease progression and improving patient prognosis.
