  • A retrospective analysis of 1,492 single blastocyst transfers across two centers.
  • Blastocysts were categorized by Day 3 and Day 5 scores (excellent, good, poor).

  • While Day 3 to Day 5 morphological changes did not significantly alter outcomes, Day 3 scores provide supplementary information for selecting top-tier Day 5 embryos.
  • Integrating Day 3 and Day 5 morphological assessments can enhance embryo selection for improved IVF success.
