Summary

This study presents a novel UV-activated copper oxide (CuO) nanosheet sensor for detecting toxic hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) gas at room temperature. The sensor offers high sensitivity and selectivity, mitigating explosion hazards associated with conventional gas detection methods.
