Modified Tran Viet-Neveux technique with monocusp valve for truncus type 1 repair

The ideal method for restoring right ventricle to pulmonary artery continuity in truncus arteriosus remains controversial. Valved conduits have been the most prevalent technique used, but there is good evidence that avoiding conduit implantation provides longer freedom from reoperation. We describe a modified Tran Viet-Neveux technique repair with a monocusp valve in a 3-month-old truncus type 1 patient.
