  • A statistically significant improvement in nurses' knowledge scores was observed post-training (mean increase from 20.4 to 22.8, P=0.001).
  • Patient Safety Culture (PSC) ratings showed a significant association with nurses' experience level (χ² = 9.800, P = 0.007).
  • No significant association was found between PSC ratings and nurses' education level (χ² = 5.400, P = 0.067).

Conclusions:

  • Interactive patient safety training effectively enhances nurses' knowledge in Eastern India.
  • Investing in practices that improve patient safety culture is crucial for reducing adverse events.
  • Further research is needed to assess the long-term impact of such interventions on clinical practice and patient outcomes.
