Summary

Breast cancer brain metastases rely on acetyl-CoA synthetase 2 (ACSS2) for survival by preventing ferroptosis. Inhibiting ACSS2 with AD-5584 induced ferroptosis and suppressed tumor growth, offering a new therapeutic strategy.
