Abstract:
13C RCSA-based stereochemical analysis in commercially available PBLG medium is enabled for polar molecules by introducing THF-d8 and THF-d8/DMSO-d6 solvent systems. This overcomes solubility limitations in CDCl3, which had been the only PBLG-compatible solvent. Successful validation on parthenolide, dexamethasone, and sucrose demonstrated reliable and enhanced stereochemical differentiation, expanding the application scope of RCSA analysis.
