Do Respiratory Viruses Cause Leaky Gut Syndrome?

Respiratory viral infections in infants did not increase serum zonulin or thymus-expressed chemokine (TECK) levels. Both biomarkers showed a positive correlation and peaked in the second half of the first year of life.
