Abstract:
A mild and efficient method for the regioselective iodination of arylboronic acids in dimethyl carbonate is reported. Dimethyl carbonate, a well-known green solvent, promotes high regioselectivity and excellent yields, performing efficiently on both activated and nonactivated arylboronic acids, regardless of the position and nature of the substituents.
