Summary
Synchronous upper tract urothelial carcinoma with bladder cancer (UTUC + sUBC) patients have worse outcomes than metachronous (UTUC + mUBC) cases. Despite similar tumor biology, synchronous disease indicates poorer progression-free survival and overall survival.
