Glycyrrhizic acid-modified gold nanoparticles (GA-Au NPs) show antiviral activity against porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) and SARS-CoV-2 pseudovirus. These biocompatible nanomaterials inhibit viral replication and infection stages without direct virucidal effects.
