Invasive-Front P21 Expression Is Associated With Tumor Aggressiveness in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Spatial P21 expression patterns, not absolute levels, correlate with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) aggressiveness. Tumors with perineural invasion show increased P21 at the invasive front, suggesting potential for identifying aggressive HNSCC.
