Trichoderma spp. are known for producing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) with antifungal activity. Recently, the species Trichoderma agriamazonicum was described in the Amazon; however, its volatilome remains largely unexplored. This study investigated VOC prospecting from T. agriamazonicum using the OSMaC strategy and assessed its in vitro antifungal activity against six phytopathogens. The fungus was grown on six substrates, and VOCs were extracted by solid-phase microextraction and analysed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-SPME-GC-MS). After seven days, mycelial inhibition reached 81.19 ± 0.37% (Corynespora cassiicola), 49.38 ± 0.84% (Colletotrichum scovillei), 44.20 ± 5.14% (Colletotrichum spathianum), 36.30 ± 1.69% (Fusarium decemcellulare), 29.40 ± 1.04% (Pseudopestalotiopsis sp.), and 12.26 ± 1.04% (Colletotrichum sp.). Nutritional modulation significantly altered the volatilome, increasing production of 6-pentyl-2H-pyran-2-one (85.51% relative area) and 2-pentylfuran (10.82%). These findings expand the chemical knowledge of T. agriamazonicum and reinforce the biotechnological potential of its VOCs as a promising alternative for biological control.
