Summary

Endoscopic mini- or less-open sublay (EMILOS) offers a minimally invasive umbilical hernia repair for elderly patients with poor lung function. This technique, combined with a supraglottic airway device (SGA), demonstrated a safe and effective outcome in a recent case study.
