Summary

This study details the first case of facial-stapedial synkinesis (FSS) after Ramsay Hunt syndrome (RHS). Stapedial tendon tenotomy effectively treated the persistent auditory symptoms of FSS.

Facial-stapedial synkinesis (FSS) is an uncommon complication involving involuntary facial muscle and ear muscle activation.

The co-occurrence of FSS secondary to RHS is rare and poorly documented.
