Local and General Inflammatory Mediators Status in Patients with Oral Lichen Planus

Oral Lichen Planus (OLP) inflammation may be localized, with higher salivary IL-1β and lower serum MMP-8 in patients. Salivary IL-1β could be a potential biomarker for OLP diagnosis and monitoring.
