Genetic Characterization of Avian Rotavirus A From Japanese Pigeons

Two Japanese avian rotavirus A (ARVA) strains from pigeons were genetically characterized. Their whole genomes suggest a globally distributed ARVA ancestor, aiding understanding of avian rotavirus evolution.
