Artificial intelligence (AI) in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) did not improve image quality or speed up the Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma (FAST) exam for trainees. AI assistance increased acquisition time for both novice and experienced emergency medicine residents.
