Association between a Periconception Healthy Plant-Based Diet and Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes

A healthy plant-based diet in early pregnancy is linked to reduced risks of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). These benefits were observed regardless of neighborhood food access, similar to the DASH diet.
