Recent incidents, including the 2026 cyber-attack, highlight operational risks despite low direct intraoperative threats. Proactive cybersecurity, via FDA-aligned secure design, institutional audits, and surgeon vigilance, is imperative to safeguard patient safety and trust in precision orthopedics.
