We prove that the category of (strictly unital) -categories, linear over a commutative ring R, with strict -morphisms has a cofibrantly generated model structure. In this model structure every object is fibrant and the cofibrant objects have cofibrant morphisms. As a consequence we prove that the semi-free -categories (resp. resolutions) are cofibrant objects (resp. resolution) in this model structure.

Hückel's Rule Diagram of π MOs: Frost Circle
A Frost circle is constructed by drawing a polygon whose number of edges is equal to the number of carbons of the given cyclic system, with one of the vertices pointing down. Then, a circle is drawn enclosing the polygon so that...
Mohr's Circle for Plane Strain
Mohr's circle visually represents the strain states under various conditions, which is essential for understanding material behavior. The center of Mohr's...
Mohr's Circle for Plane Stress
Consider a set of Cartesian coordinates. The horizontal and vertical axes correspond to normal stress (σ) and shearing stress (τ), respectively. Two points, points A and B, are defined by the normal and shear stresses on the...
Structural Isomerism
Isomers are different chemical species that have the same chemical formula. Structural isomerism of coordination compounds can be divided into two subcategories, the linkage isomers and coordination-sphere isomers.
Linkage isomers occur when the coordination compound contains a ligand that can bind to the transition metal center through two different atoms. For example, the CN− ligand can bind through the carbon atom or through the nitrogen atom. Similarly, SCN− can be...
