Intrauterine Balloon Tamponade Duration for Postpartum Hemorrhage: A Randomized Controlled Trial

A 6-hour intrauterine balloon tamponade is as effective as an 18-hour duration for controlling postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) after vaginal delivery. This finding suggests shorter tamponade times may be sufficient for managing PPH.
