Abstract:
Kindel, Post et al. establish that VMH SF1 neurons in mice encode exercise history and mediate endurance gains and exercise-driven metabolic benefits. Activation of these neurons even without further exercise training sustains benefits, suggesting they may be a target of exercise-mimetic therapies.
