Abstract:
A magnetically recoverable Fe₃O₄@CNT nanocatalyst was synthesized using date-seed-derived carbon nanotubes as a sustainable support. The nanocomposite was structurally and morphologically characterized, confirming the presence of uniformly distributed nanoparticles and a high surface area. The catalyst exhibited high catalytic efficiency for the one-pot synthesis of quinazolinone derivatives under mild conditions (50° C, 5 min), achieving excellent yields and recyclability. This eco-friendly, waste-derived catalytic system offers an environmentally friendly benign approach for the synthesis of tetrahydrobenzoimidazo[2,1-b] quinazolin-1(2H)-ones.
