Timely treatment of syphilis is key to interrupting transmission and preventing sequelae. We calculated treatment timeliness for reported syphilis cases in the United States in 2023. Most case notifications (85.6%) had documentation of starting treatment within 6 months, with variations in days to treatment initiation by syphilis stage, sex, and pregnancy status.
