It examines historical milestones, legal and educational developments, and the expanding scope of CRNA practice. The review also considers future trends, including artificial intelligence, data-driven anesthesia management, and global advocacy. By highlighting both the historical context and modern advancements, the article underscores the CRNA's role as a clinically proficient, autonomous, and forward-facing anesthesia provider.
