Abstract:
We describe a rare case of multiple myeloma with atypical gammopathy. This educational case illustrates the importance of careful interpretation of electrophoretic profiles, immunotyping and immunofixation in relation to the clinical and biological context. It provides an opportunity to review potential pitfalls and additional investigations to be considered.
