Schwannomas are benign tumors arising from Schwann cells, which are present in all peripheral nerves. However, the olfactory nerve lacks typical Schwann cell ensheathment, making the development of true schwannomas in this region highly unlikely. We report a case of a young lactating woman who presented with recurrent epistaxis and was found to have a schwannoma in the olfactory region. Characteristic imaging findings are presented, and the tumor's origin is discussed.
