Abstract:
Despite advances in targeted therapy and immunotherapy, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has yet to be managed as a chronic disease. The emergence of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA)/molecular residual disease (MRD)-guided adaptive treatment and novel agents, including KRAS G12D inhibitors, trophoblast cell surface antigen 2 (TROP2)-antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), and PD-1/VEGF bispecific antibodies, is creating progress toward this goal. Five relevant clinical trials may reshape clinical practice, advance precision treatment, and bring this vision closer.
